( This necklace is fabulous and I love these two looks)
I read a great article about the 70's by Tory Burch in the Huffington Post's style section. She made very good points that all though the decade gets a bad rap no one should ever forget that they were the years that birthed classic american sportswear, Yves St. Laurent was "revolutionizing the way women dress" and names like Ralph, Calvin, Diane, Oscar and Donna became familiar. I appreciated the historical recap and bad rap or not it's the trend of the moment.
I love the photos below that inspired Tory, they're some of fashions greatest icons (a post in itself...), I especially love the first photo of her mother Reva Robinson in Zoran's gold lamé top in which she pays homage to in her latest collection.
Loving Bianca's white suit...below is Tory Burch's version of gold lamé 2011 modeled by Anna Del Russo.
