I couldn't think of a better post for this historic day then this gorgeous editorial from Glamour Germany.
Congratulations to Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge, I wish them all the happiness in the world.
Enjoy the weekend.

How could I resist after seeing this fabulous cover from the April '11 issue of Playing Fashion? I think it needs to go up on my wall.

Elisa Sednaoui in various styles looking hot and relaxed for D la Repubblica Magazine. I would love to sport every one of these outfits in the pending months, it's just what I've been desiring...all sorts of gorgeous, sexy, hip and sleek clothes with a dash of tomboy charm.

Sasha P. undercover for Vogue Korea April '11. What a fine set of clothes & accessories, the photos are incredible and she seems like she could be a great actress perhaps? Her ability to get into character is deep, she definitely caught me in picture #3. Some of those super models are certainly talented in this department, I've never seen her in anything but she may have starred in some cool indie flick and I missed, if so let me know...
Also, you have to check out Coastal Family Living for a fantastic post on the cutest & chicest eco fashions. Nicole spotlights similar styles of shoes seen above and some fabulous garments that made my heart burst in delight. Seeing she was the buyer for her own amazing boutique years ago (that I loved) I'm not surprised, this girl has quite an eye and I'm all for looking chic while in line with the earth, what could be better?

Love this sunglass style, I'll take the blue and the white.
I hope everyone had an incredible Easter, mine was amazing. I had said I planned on resurrecting over the weekend and I certainly did. It was days filled with incredible magic and mystical energy...honestly it was better than a movie and goes to show when you trust and manifest things really do happen. One of the most magical of all events was eating a Tres Leches cupcake that Brandi brought to my family's celebration. These treats knocked everyone's socks off, they're literally out of this world.

I thought it only fitting to post this nature inspired frock since today's all about the earth. It's absolutely stunning, the colors are amazing and the construction is glorious.
In regards to the planet I say we go completely organic, bio degradable and non toxic, it would be so refreshing and Mother Earth would be very happy.
Have a great weekend everybody!

I'm a huge scarf fan, in fact I'm starting to collect some vintage beauties for my line. These from Forget Me Knot for S/S '11 are so lovely and totally remind me of the art I saw last Friday night at the opening I went to. I've known Harry Daily (aka Harry Holiday) for years and I can honestly say I think he's one of the greatest modern artists of our time. His work is very unique and beautiful, the pieces often take my breath away and I feel so lucky to own a few. (Please forgive the shots below, my need for a fancy camera is becoming imperative.)
Here's a photo of the man himself eating a world famous VG doughnut. Prints start at about $200 and can currently be purchased at the Green Flash Surf Art Gallery and if you can afford an original I would suggest the investment, there's nothing like great artwork to fill one's walls.

Love love love beyond as I'm sure you could tell with the number of looks I posted. These clothes are pulling at my So Cal heart strings, I absolutely want them all for the fall '11 wardrobe.
Check out Ellus here.

I had predicted Friday that it was going to be a great weekend but I didn't know how great it was going to be. When I started the blog one of my goals was to eventually write for a magazine. As regular readers know I've been featured a couple of times in San Diego Magazine via the blog and most recently was asked to write two articles for the May issue that came out this weekend, seeing my name and words in print was beyond exciting.
In one article I spotlighted some fantastic North County boutiques (SD is broken into a few counties, the North is my neck of the woods) and the other is an interview with Anna Swonetz of Anna Bee Jewelry, here's the link. Anna ended up being one of the nicest, funniest and most talented people I've ever met, we had a great time together and her jewelry is incredible, the personalized necklaces are perfect for Mother's Day.
Here's a photo of Anna, isn't she stunning? Have a great day everybody!
